Hardangervidda

Tha vast mountain plateau of hardangervidda is one of Europe's largest. It is also home to Northern Europe's largest stcok of reindeer. The migrate across the plateau during the year, moving from their winter grazing land on the east side of the hardangervidda to their breeding grounds in the more fertile wets of the plateau.

El Parque Nacional de Hardangervidda destaca por su rica vida animal y vegetal, y es el área más meridional de Noruega donde se puede encontrar flora y fauna árticas. En esta meseta se han registrado más de 500 especies de plantas, así como 100 especies de aves y 21 mamíferos distintos, incluyendo el reno, el zorro polar y el búho nival.
